This session is designed for complete beginners who want to try everything without committing to a multi-week course. We split the time evenly so you can experience two completely different ways of working with clay in a relaxed, low-pressure environment.

The Breakdown:

• 45 Minutes of Hand-Building: Sit at the tables to learn coiling and pinch techniques, sculpting a functional piece from scratch.

• 45 Minutes on the Wheel: Step up to the pottery wheel to experience centering, opening, and pulling walls with spinning clay.

What is included:

• Step-by-Step Guidance: Our instructors walk you through the absolute basics of both styles.

• Make Your Own Work: You will create pieces using both methods during the class. You will choose 1 piece from each technique to keep (two pieces int total).

• Glazing & Firing Service: Pick your 2 favorite creations. We will professionally glaze and fire them for you.

• All Materials Covered: Clay, tools, aprons, and firing fees are included in the ticket.

• Shipping Available: Optional shipping for your finished items is available for $25 per person.
