Hi we’re Glazed & Confused, a family-run Tasmanian business where everyone, from absolute beginners to professional mud-fliers, is welcome. After opening in Hobart in 2019, our community showed us so much love that we expanded to a second home in Launceston in 2021. Our studios are safe, welcoming spaces designed for humans of all backgrounds, ages, and abilities to connect, create, and get messy.
Our classes are purposefully designed to be completely unintimidating and never stuffy—pottery here is judgment-free, whether you make a masterpiece or a beautifully lopsided bowl. To make things easy, we handle all the firing and glazing right here in the studio for you.
We deeply care about making creativity accessible, which is why we collaborate with local organisations to provide subsidised workshops and deliver our specialised therapeutic clay experiences regularly across our communities. From quiet nights out with your bestie to lively hens parties, we are just excited to celebrate with you. Plus, BYO is free with zero corkage fees, so bring along whatever drinks and snacks make you feel at home!
