Independent Studio Time is designed for experienced makers and graduates of our 5-Week Studio Course. These uninstructed blocks give you the freedom to practice your skills, experiment with forms, and create work independently in a clean, supportive community environment at a reduced rate during allocated Independent time throughout the week.

What is included:

• Full Facility Access: Use of our pottery wheels, hand-building tables, slab rollers, and studio tools.

• Complimentary Clay & Glaze: Standard studio clay and access to our house glazes are fully included in your booking.

• Storage Space: Dedicated space to safely store your dry & damp work-in-progress pieces between sessions.

Important details:

• Prerequisite Required: You must have completed our 5-Week Studio Course to be fully inducted into our studio and be given access to book.

• Independent Studio time: There is no formal teaching during these hours. A studio technician is always on-site for safety and general questions.

• Pay-As-You-Kiln Firing: Firing is charged separately at $5 per kilo for bisque firing and $5 per kilo for glaze firing. This ensures you only pay for and keep the pieces you like the most.
